Venevitinivo - the Homestead of Dmitry Venevitinov

Venevitinivo is the homestead of the famous noble family, one of the oldest in Voronezh region. It is the place where you can see the homestead and learn a lot about Russian homesteads in whole. Moreover, it is the only museum of Dmitry Venevitinov, Russian poet and philosopher.

The exposition tells about Russian homesteads and Venevitinov family. Here you can also find literary exposition. Wandering along the halls pay attention to various little objects. And you will learn a lot about Russian aristocracy.

A lot of objects are closely connected with Dmitry Venevitinov. There is the monument dedicated to him before the house. In one of the halls you will see his portrait.

Dmitry Venevitinov lived only 21 years but he did a lot. Many of his poems and essays we have today.

After vising the house don't forget to visit the park, that was reconstructed. Now it is pleasant place for walking. Going along the alleys, look at the river Don and just relax and enjoy the atmosphere.
