Peterhof is situated not far from St.Petersburg on the shore of the Gulf of Finland. It has been summer residence of Russin emperors for 200 years. And today it is important cultural and historical center.

Peterhof as a residence was founded by the first Russian emperor Peter the Great. Its building began in 1714. All was done to 1723. This residence is one of the greatest residences in Europe.

I visited Peterhof three times and every time I felt great inspiration. I wanted to accomodate all these sights in my soul. Of course there are a lot of photos of Peterhof. But they can't express the atmosphere of this place.

In Peterhof you will hear gurgling water every time, you will be surrounded fantastic architecture. Just open your eyes so wide as you can and enjoy the moment.
