Moscow, Russia Travelling is one of the most popular hobbies. Very often we want to visit different countries and forget about motherland. The more I travel to other countries, the more clearly I understand how little I have seen in my motherland. Today remembering all those fantastic sights I dream about new Russian trips and new adventures.  So, what have I already seen?

Moscow is one of the largest cities in the world. Often interesting locations are situated far from each other. If you want to explore Russian capital but have lack of time just use my guide. Kuzma Minin and Dmitry Pozharsky monument, Moscow  On November 4 in Russia National Unity Day is celebrated. Four centuries ago in 1612 civil uprising under Kuzma Minin and Dmitry Pozharsky defeated the army of Poland and Lithuania. Walking on the Red Square in Moscow you will see the monument dedicated to Kuzma Minin and Dmitry Pozharsky. In was created in 1818. Ivan Martos, the architect, made the project for it. Two sons of Martos became the models for the sculptures.

Moscow GUM Being in Moscow every tourist certainly visits the Red Square and GUM (Main Universal Store). It attracts Russians and foreigners because of not only the opportunity to do great shopping but also its architecture.

The monument to Peter the Great, Petropavlovskaya fortress, St. Petersburg Peter the Great was he first Russian emperor, outstanding person who really changed Russia.  Russian artists and sculptors create lots of masterpieces dedicated to the first Russian emperor Peter the Great. Now I am going to tell about two monuments to the emperor.
