Moscow, Russia |
Travelling is one of the most popular hobbies. Very often we want to visit different countries and forget about motherland. The more I travel to other countries, the more clearly I understand how little I have seen in my motherland. Today remembering all those fantastic sights I dream about new Russian trips and new adventures.
So, what have I already seen?
It can seem strange but sometimes it is much easier to come to Moscow from Europe than from distant regions of Russia. Everyone knows that Russia is famous for its vastness. At the same time Moscow as the richest city of Russia is a magnet for different people.
Moscow is at the same time old and modern and this combination charmes me.
Saint Basil's Cathedral on the Red Square, the Kremlin and Zayryadye Park, Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy (VDHN), Moscow International Business Center… It is only the beginning of the list of the places which must be seen in Moscow.

I would like although to show photos of
Voronezh, the city where I have more than 15 years lived. It was almost completely destroyed during the World War II. That's why there are not many places of interest. But now more and more people are interested in the culture and history of the city, and Voronezh comes to life.

A lot of locations in Lipetsk as well as in Voronezh are connected with Russian first emperor Peter the Great. |

Not far from Moscow there are also several places connected with one of the most well-known writers in the world - Leo Tolstoy. I visited his family homesteads Yasnaya Polyana and Nikolskoe-Vyazemskoe and also the place where he died, now called Leo Tolstoy in its honour.

One more place that I wanted to visit for a long time was art-park Nikola-Lenivets. It is the territory with art-objects in the open air.
