St. Petersburg - the "Second" Capital of Russia

St. Petersburg is the city where I was born. I admire its cathedrals, palaces and other buildings. Every corner in the center can give you a surprise. Sometimes I look at all these and feel that my heart, my soul can’t contain all this beauty.
Peter the Great founded St. Petersburg in 1703. The city with 300 years history today is really romantic, simultaneously old and modern. A lot of interesting places and activities are concentrated here.

Heart of St. Petersburg is the Winter Palace, the Hermitage.

The Hermitage is one of the largest museums of fine art in the world. Visiting it pay attention not only exhibits but also palace's interiors.
