Some time ago I visited Berlin, the city about which so many words were said in my school during German lessons. Look with me at its old streets with world famous places of interest.

I spent in the capital of Germany only one day. There I walked along Museum Island, looked at Brandenburg Gate and visited Reichstag viewpoint.

Brandenburg Gate is the point where different events take place. This place citizens choose, for example, when they want to protest or draw attention to some problem. When I was there a group of naked to the waist people said that animals need the same rights as people. The speech was prepared in several languages including Russian.

Going furher I saw the Reichtag, about which every Russian knows. If you want to visit the Reichstag, you should pre-register on its website. There are different opportunities. But you shoud register as soon as possible to choose what you are interested in. Excursions are free.
I could visit only Reichstag viewpoint. All visitors receive an audio guide in their language.
Except exucursions people can attend meetings in the Reichstag and learn how important for all Germany decisions are made.
The viewpoint looks modern. It is the construction made of glass and metal.

A huge place of interest in Berlin is Museum Island. There are five museums, where you will see masterpieces of different nations and epoches and Berlin Cathedral on its territory.

It is also nice to walk along the banks of the River Spree.

In summer there will be boats and people will be able to see the place of interest from a new angle.

Walking along the streets (I must say, that in the center there a lot of narrow but crowded streets) you will see different bears very often. A bear is a symbol of Berlin.

Of course in Berlin there are a lot of reminders of the time when the city and the whole country were divided into two parts. One of them is so called Check Point Charlie.

Near this place you will find the museum of Berlin Wall. Here you can also buy various souveniers connected with the Wall, USA and USSR.
Of course one day for Berlin is not enough. And I am eager to explore it.
